Achyranthes aspera Linn. has been broadly used as traditionally medicine in several countries. All parts of this plant have been used in treatment and prevention of several complications. Taxonomically Achyranthes aspera Linn. belong to family Amaranthaceae. In the present study, stem of Achyranthes aspera Linn. were subjected to Pharmacognostic evaluation. Various methods including macroscopic, microscopic, physiochemical and phytochemical methods were applied to determine the features for the identification and standardization of intact and powdered drug of stem of Achyranthes aspera Linn. This analysis is proved useful to differentiate it from other drug material. The powdered plant material was removed by Soxhlet extractor in Ethyl acetate and ethanol after defatting with petroleum ether.Phytochemical testing of extracts discovered presence of glycosides, flavonoids, carbohydrates, etc. The total phenolic and flavonoid content of plant extracts was expressed as Gallic acid equivalents and as quercetin equivalents separately. Antioxidant activity was carried out by 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhyrazyl (DPPH) assay. DPPH scavenging assay were performed to evaluate the antioxidant activity which was found maximum at 100 microgram concentration for both extracts. The results of acute oral toxicity studies of plant extracts as per standard references revealed median lethal dose (LD50) could be greater than 2000mg/kg body weight in rats. Accordinglysafe experimental dose was calculated as 100 and 200mg/kg. The evaluation of in-vivo anxiolytic activity in rats was done using elevated plus maze model. The results showed increases locomotor activity in both extracts at dose of 200mg/kg compared to vehicle group.

This study created a poly-herbal powder drink using traditional herbs with established nutritional benefits. Cinnamon bark, Amla leaves, and tulsi leaves were chosen for their refreshing, cooling, and energizing effects throughout the hot months. The final formulation was chosen based on taste and physicochemical attributes, following multiple experiments. The physicochemical study of the prepared drink revealed an optimal pH level, consistent with commercial guidelines. The drink received high ratings for color, taste, flavor, and texture on a nine-point hedonic scale. The created herbal drink offers consumers a costeffective and tasty option with possible health benefits. The present drink has the potential to replace synthetic drinks on the market.

Aim: A simple, sensitive, and cost-effective spectrophotometric method has been developed and validated for the determination of clotrimazole in pharmaceutical formulations. Settings and Method: The method is based on the measurement of absorbance at a specific wavelength (250 nm) in a methanolic solution. The linearity, precision, accuracy, limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantitation (LOQ), and robustness were investigated according to ICH guidelines. Results: The proposed method showed excellent linearity in the range of 1-25 µg/mL with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.9998. The results indicated that the method is suitable for routine quality control analysis of clotrimazole in bulk and tablet formulations. Conclusion: The method is validated according to ICH guidelines and all the parameters are under the limits and used for routine analysis labs.

Nipah virus is a newly formed Zoonosis. Which causes significant mortality in human & causes impact on public health. According to WHO for animal health Niv is a notifiable disease important to international trades. Niv belongs to the family paramyxoviridae and is related to Hendra virus. Nipah virus is a single- Negative (-ve) standard RNA and its size range is from (40 – 1900nm) the presence of reticular cytoplasmic inclusion near to the endoplasmic reticulum distinguish the virus from paramyxoviruses. Fruit bats are identified as the natural reservoir host. Electron micro graph shows Nipah virus particles (purple) & Infected Vero cell shows (Brown). It is started from the state of Malaysia, Singapore & later in India, Kerala etc. Niv spreads from direct contact with infected animals like bats, pigs & their body fluids like Blood, urine, saliva & food products contamination by body fluids of animals. Niv common symptoms are fever, cold, headache respiratory problems etc. PCR & ELISA are the methods for diagnosis purpose. There is no specific medication or vaccine for the treatment of Nipah virus. Currently several clinical trials on vaccines are going on including mRNA – based vaccines. There is a lack of vaccine & therapeutic to cure this disease. Supportive medication used for the treatment of symptoms are Acetaminophen or ibuprofen, Dimenhydrinate or ondansetron, Dextromethorphan, ipratropium, or salbutamol.
