The internet has made education accessible to everyone, anytime and anywhere. Understanding research scholars’ attitudes about e-learning and their level of satisfaction with previous e-learning experiences and technology is crucial for the success of future e-learning endeavors. Although e-learning’s potential advantages for developing nations have been covered in the literature, little is known about how those nations’ citizens actually use the technology. The study examined how the views of scholars regarding e-learning related to their technology availability, usage for learning, technological proficiency, and level of happiness with technology. Purposive selection was used to choose the study sample, which included 52 researchers pursuing Mphil and PhD degrees from different departments of the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.The primary data from respondents was gathered using a well-structured questionnaire. The results showed that the researchers had a favorable attitude toward online learning, and that their attitudes differed markedly depending on their level of experience with technology, and skill set.

This research aims to identify the trends and development and how technology supports education these days using the VOSviewer database. The purpose of the study is to appraise the research productivity on learning management systems (LMS) in India and to examine the various indicators like growth trajectory, annual growth rate, authorship trends, collaborative patterns, institutional collaboration, most prolific authors, top-ranked journals, top-ranked subjects, and top-ranked funding agencies. This study was conducted through scientometric analysis of Learning Management System (LMS) in the two decades from 2004 to 2023 retrieving the metadata in the Scopus database, VOSviewer mapping visualization application, and MS Excel spreadsheet for analysis. This study was expected to identify the research trends, collaborative patterns, novelty, and future education in LMS adaptability. The results show that Learning Management System Publication consists of 7 clusters with 3353 links and a total of 12025 Link Strengths through 178 items through the VOSviewer application. We examined how many articles have been published on the Learning Management System and connected with their problem areas using VOSviewer. This analysis can be aninitial point for further research related to LMS or mode of Distance Learning.

The main purpose of the present study is to make a quantitative analysis and to compare the research publications between two prestigious central universities in India. The data are collected from the Scopus database during the period 2019 to 2023 and mainly focus on the growth of publications, highly cited articles, authorship networks, international collaboration patterns, funding agencies and channels for communicating their research findings. A total of 6990 and 7574 publication records of JNU and JMI respectively were analysed using MS Excel and scientometric techniques. For JNU, 2022 (21.8% publications) is the most productive year, whereas for JMI, the year 2023 with 23.2% publications. The year 2020 received the highest number of citations i.e. 38.1% and 33.3% for both universities. Researchers of JNU and JMI channel their research findings in 1819 and 1806 unique journals in which 66.7% and 64.9% of articles are published respectively. The ACPP for JNU’s prolific authors ranges from 6.4 to 18.8 whereas for JMI’s most productive authors range from 10 to 51.7. Both JNU and JMI published scientific publications collaborated with 166 and 135 different international countries respectively.

This research article aims to explore the utilization and significance of digital library services in government agriculture colleges located in Rajasthan. The study focuses on the background and importance of digital libraries in the context of agricultural education. Additionally, it provides an overview of the government agriculture colleges in Rajasthan, highlighting their role in promoting agricultural research and education. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data collection methods to gather insights on the current state of digital library services in these institutions. The findings of this study can help identify areas for improvement and contribute to enhancing the quality of agricultural education in Rajasthan.

Purpose: This study assessed the awareness and use of information sources and services among the post graduate students of three government colleges of Sikkim. The purpose of the article is to provide information about different kinds of resources and services, including level of awareness, informational barriers, satisfaction with library performance, etc. Methodology: Only 94 of the 100 well-structured questionnaires that were formulated for the current study and were sent to postgraduate students at three government colleges were returned. The information was gathered and examined using tables, graphs, etc. Findings: Findings of the study results, 62 (65%) of respondents were men, and 32 (43%) were women. The results also show that while respondents from two of the colleges expressed satisfaction with the library’s information sources and services while Sikkim Government College, Gyazing, expressed dissatisfaction with a number of them, including its online resources and internet access, suggesting that efforts should be made regarding those areas where a large percentage of respondents are not satisfied.Some recommendations have been made based on the findings in order to understand how to use information sources and services effectively and efficiently. Originality/Value: The study’s findings and recommendations will be helpful and informative for selecting the best path to better information sources and services. The study will also offer suggestions for more research in the area of library and information science, which will ultimately assist learners, researchers, and decision-makers in identifying the information needs of users.

Purpose: Scientometric study is a quantitative analysis of various collection of information resources have been evaluated using a variety of metrics, examine the pattern of the authorship; pattern of the citations; document types cited information used by researchers; and find out the top ranking of journals & Scimago journal category for Physics. In this study the researchers examined Country wise journal citation, supervisor wise, ranking, year wise, and core subjects’ trends also.This paper aims to explore the Scientometric analysis of doctoral theses in the field of physics awarded by DHSGSU Sagar, (M.P.) India. Design/methodology/approach: This study used a data collected total number of twentynine doctoral theses in field of physics during the years 2001–2010. collected of data is both method offline and online mode in field of Physics raw data has collected print form the from Jawaharlal Nehru DHSGSU Sagar (M.P) Library and also visit the department meet the supervisors’ collected data of Physics, online theses data collected form Shodhganga e-theses in physics awarded by DHSGSU Sagar, (M.P). The data are tabulated and analyzed with quantitative statistics analysis methods using using SPSS, MS-Excel tables, graphs, diagrams and various parameters of Scientometric. Finding: The study found that out the journals were the most popular information sources utilized by subject of Physics studies researchers, accounting for 4764 (70.75%) of the total citations, followed by 905 (13.44%) citations of books. Top journals wise results are first ranked of journal i.e. “Journal of Geophysical Research” most with 496 most citations and second ranked journal “Journal of Solid-State Ionics” with 280 citations. In this study, the authorship pattern wise journal citations indicate that the majority of the citations of two authors with first rank in this study with a total number of 1552 (32.58%) citations who dominate in Physics and are second highest with a total number of 1497 (31.42%) citations followed by three authored citations accounting with 854 (17.93%) citations. the Country wise research performance is first rank of this study is United States contributed 1498(31.44%) having maximum citations. Practical implications: The literature review revealed that the journals are top most majority of citations in this study The future importance and scope of this study are fundamental guidelines for researchers’ selection of research topics and innovations in the field of physical science. Originality/value: This study will provide an idea of increasing trends in innovative research and ideas for researchers. The study finds that the researchers prefer foreign information sources due to the qualitative nature of the research. This study will be very helpful for librarian collection development policy, budget, selection of periodicals, and study materials in all science fields.

This bibliometric study investigates the literature on animal ecology from 2019 to 2023, focusing on trends, prolific contributors, and influential journals. By analysing 8942 article sourced from the Web of Science database, this study identifies key patterns in annual publication growth, citation trends, and the most prolific countries, institutions, authors, and journals and most preferred keyword. The analysis reveals that the United States leads in both productivity and citations, with the University of California System as the most prolific institution. “Ecology and Evolution” emerged as the top journal, while “Ecology” was the most frequently used keyword. The study highlights the consistent output of research in animal ecology for the last five years, which indicates that how speedily bibliometric study in field of library science supports in contributing to scientific advancement.

This study investigates the utilization of digital resources among Faculty and Students at Government First Grade College, Koratagere in Karnataka. Through a survey methodology involving 300 respondents, the study examines various aspects of digital resource usage, including internet habits, access patterns, satisfaction levels, and encountered challenges. Findings reveal a prevalent reliance on digital resources among Faculty and Students, with a significant majority accessing the internet daily for purposes such as finding information, accessing journals, and utilizing e-resources. Formal training in digital resource usage is widespread among respondents, indicating institutional support for digital literacy. However, challenges such as slow access speeds, information overload, and reliance on digital sources pose notable concerns. Suggestions for improvement include enhancing internet infrastructure, providing targeted training programs, and promoting critical evaluation skills for digital information. Overall, the study underscores the importance of integrating digital resources effectively into Higher Education to optimize learning outcomes and prepare future healthcare professionals for the digital age.

The present study has analyzed nearly the growth of research publications during the study period from 2013 to 2022 with a sample of 3630 articles published in the field of Mesentery with the maximum number of research papers, 1198 (12.56%), was published in the year 2021, The research publications with the highest number of citations are those with 30807 (22.04). In author Coffey, J.C. from the United States holds the highest number of the publications, contribute 49 (23.56%), the majority of the articles were published in Medicine (7495 or 59.51%) research publications, a maximum of 7932 (83.14%) research publications are contributed by the distribution of document type. The time series analysis application is anticipated in Mesentery Research papers to be about equal to 1224 in 2025 and approximately equal to 1359 in 2030. At that point, a thorough investigation proved that there is a growing tendency in the papers on Mesentery Research publications.The institutions according to the analysis, the Harvard Medical School published the most articles, with 115 (16.11%) research publications, the International Journal of Surgery Case Reports with 227(21.50%). The United States contributed the most articles, amounting to more than 2363(31.57%) of the total publication, 36346(31.72%) research publications, The highly cited paper in Mesentery with the highest citations in of Clair D.G.; Beach J.M. et.al. (2016) Mesenteric ischemia, New England Journal of Medicine, 374(10): 959-968, with 333 citations and document type of review.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly recognized as a transformative force in Library and Information Science (LIS) education, offering significant opportunities and challenges. This abstract explores the critical need and importance of integrating AI into LIS education. AI technologies are reshaping how information is managed, accessed, and utilized in libraries and information centers. This article discusses the benefits of AI in enhancing information retrieval, automating routine tasks, and fostering innovation in library services. Moreover, it highlights the importance of preparing LIS professionals to navigate ethical considerations and leverage AI responsibly. The abstract also examines challenges such as skill gaps, infrastructure requirements, and resistance to change that must be addressed for effective AI integration in LIS education. Ultimately, embracing AI in LIS education equips students with essential skills and knowledge to thrive in a digital, data-driven environment, ensuring libraries remain relevant and responsive to evolving user needs.

This paper deals with LIS education in India especially on how LIS education in India has been initiated and how it has been simulated in present scenario. Education of Library and Information Science education is almost hundred years old in India. The aim of LIS courses is producing expert professionals to scale new heights of librarianship. This paper highlights the level of courses provided by the universities, colleges, Institutions including UGC Six levels of LIS Model libraries development and LIS education. The paper discusses Brief History of LIS Education India, LIS Courses, LIS Education in present Scenario, emerging trends and challenges etc. Different emerging trends and challenges affect LIS education to meet quality education. The suggestions based on those emerging trends and challenges have been suggested carefully. LIS courses must be based on the needs of the emerging job markets. Students must be trained in online searching, information literacy, interpersonal skills, research skills, communication skills and leadership competencies. This paper will be suitable to LIS Professionals, Students and teachers to understand the need of change in LIS curriculum to include cognitive, affective and logical aspects in teaching along with technology and through which the objectives of education could be achieved.
