Abstract

Scientometric portraits have been extensively used to analyze the scholarly contributions of researchers across various scientific disciplines; there remains a noticeable gap in literature regarding similar bibliometric assessments for library and information science professionals. A review of the literature indicates that a scientometric study of Dr. Anil Kumar Dhiman’s scholarly contributions was previously conducted by Sharma & Singh.1 Building upon that work, the present study examines Dr. Dhiman’s subsequent research output, providing the second phase of his scientometric portrait in the field of Library and Information Science. Dr. Anil Kumar Dhiman, a renowned library & information science professional in the field of library & information science has contributed 37 books and more than 300 papers/articles in library field. Besides, he has 10 books and 43 articles/papers to his credit in the field of Botany. However, only his library and information science related contribution's considered in the present study.
