Abstract

Diabetes is an emerging epidemic of the current scenario.It is evident now that the role of vitamin D extends beyond calcium homeostasis and includes modulationincludes modulation of skeletal and cardiac muscle function and immune cell function. One of the major site of involvement of Diabetes Mellitus is musculoskeletal system.
