The journal does not make editorial decisions based on the interest of the study or its likely impact. Research must be scientifically valid; in research articles, this includes scientifically sound research questions, the use of suitable methods and analysis, and the application of standards convened by the community relating to the field of research.
What are we looking for?
We are interested in individuals who commit to data sharing and innovation in scientific publishing.
Suitable candidates should:
a) have at least fifteen (15) papers in English-language, peer-reviewed journals;
b) have frequently been listed as corresponding authors (first or last authors) over the past five years; and
c) have demonstrated expertise that corresponds to the scope and requirements of the journals.

<p>The New Indian Journal of Surgery (NIJS) is a peer-reviewed journal catering to the needs of general surgeons and specialists, covering various surgical disciplines, including abdominal, cancer, vascular, and colorectal surgery.</p><p>The NIJS publishes original articles, reviews, and case studies on clinical and experimental surgery, surgical education, and patient care, providing surgeons, researchers, and educators with authoritative and up-to-date information on the latest advances and best practices in surgery.</p>

They are selected on the basis of their qualificaons as editors and reviewers, as well as on the recommendaon of other current members. We regularly receive several invitaons from our journals for reviewers and editors and in various speciales.

- Inclusive Ethos: Foster an inclusive environment, prioritizing quality, integrity, and relevance.
- Editorial Decisions: Make decisions on manuscripts after peer review.
