Introduction


Dr. Vinay H.G. is a highly qualified and experienced Surgical Gastroenterologist, General & Laparoscopic Surgeon, and Endoscopist practicing in Bangalore, Karnataka. He holds an M.S. in General Surgery and has specialized with a Fellowship in Surgical Gastroenterology from the prestigious Bangalore Medical College & Research Institute (BMC&RI), supplemented by expertise in minimally invasive techniques, holding FIAGES, FMAS, FALS, and a Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery (Dip. MAS). Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Surgery at VIMS&RC, Dr. Vinay is actively involved in academic and clinical practice, with a strong focus on GI surgeries, trauma, and emergency cases. His research contributions, recognized by an "International Best Researcher" award, cover clinical trials on bowel surgery and surgical site infections, and case reports on complex GI and hepatic conditions like hydatid disease and carcinoma rectum.
