Abstract
Autopsy examination of 100% burn is one of the most critical case that is encountered in medico-legal
practice. At the same time burden to fix the identity of the victim lies on the autopsy surgeon in such
cases. To exonerate any false positive or false negative inference, the concerned autopsy surgeon must
be very cautious during examination. Preservation of articles during autopsy is very essential to avoid
future disputes.
