Abstract

 The present study is the citatation anlysis of Ph.D. theses in Sociology submitted to Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut (INDIA). It analyses the author pattrenship, the forms of literature used by the research scholars and the distribution of citations according to time. It identifies the leading journal in citations and prepares a list of core journals in the field of sociology.
