Purpose: We report a case of late-onset Stargardt's disease in a 51-year-old patient who came with a bilateral, symmetrical decrease in visual acuity. Stargardt disease is the most common form of juvenile macular degeneration. Clinically, it is characterized by pisciform flecks at the level of the retinal pigment epithelium and a bull's eye maculopathy. This observation draws
attention to the existence of Stargardt's disease at a late stage.
No records found.
