Dr. S. Sridevy is a highly accomplished Associate Professor in Nursing with an exceptional 26 years of experience in teaching and clinical practice. Her deep commitment to the field is reflected in her formidable academic background, which includes an M.Sc. (N), M.A., M.Phil. (Psy)., Ph.D. (N)., and a PGDHM. Currently based at the College of Nursing, Mother Theresa PG&RIHS, Puducherry, Dr. Sridevy has made significant contributions to both nursing education and research. Her expertise is further underscored by numerous accolades, including the University First and Gold Medalist in B.Sc. (Nursing), the TNAI merit scholarship for her Ph.D. work, and multiple Best Teaching/Teacher awards in 2022 and 2023 from institutions like MTPG&RIHS, Research India Foundation, and the Nursing Teachers Association of India.
A prolific researcher and scholar, Dr. Sridevy has an extensive publication record, with 75 articles published in both International (43) and National (32) journals. Her primary research interests are wide-ranging and impactful, focusing on critical areas such as Children with special needs, Behavioural problems and learning disabilities of students, the Image of Nursing, and Nursing Education and Medical and Surgical Nursing.
