My name is Mrs. Pushpa Arpit Khristi. I am an experienced nursing professional with an academic background in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (P.B.B.Sc. Nursing), and Master of Science in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing). I completed my GNM in 2011 from Poona Hospital and Research Centre under Maharashtra University, securing 73.31%. I completed my P.B.B.Sc. Nursing in 2016 from J.G. College of Nursing, Gujarat University, with 72.12%, followed by my M.Sc. Nursing in 2019 from J.G. College of Nursing, Gujarat University, securing 64.28%. These qualifications have strengthened my professional knowledge and commitment to nursing education and practice. I have gained experience in both clinical nursing and nursing education. I worked as a Staff Nurse at Poona Hospital and Research Centre from March 2011 to July 2012, where I developed practical skills in patient care and nursing services. I also worked as a Staff Nurse at Jivraj Mehta Hospital from August 2013 to July 2014 and at Shrey Institute of Nursing and Allied Sciences from September 2016 to May 2017. In nursing education, I worked as a Nursing Tutor at Khyati School and College of Nursing from June 2017 to September 2017 and later as an M.Sc. Nursing Tutor from November 2019 to May 2026. Currently, I am working at KD Institute of Nursing Sciences from June 2026 to till date. My academic, clinical, and teaching experience enables me to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical nursing skills and contribute to the education and development of nursing students. I have guided four batches of B.Sc. Nursing students as a research guide. I have also attended Faculty Development Programs on “Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Nursing Education and Research Methodology” and “From Ideas to Innovation,” which enhanced my knowledge of teaching strategies, research, technology integration, and academic growth.
