IntroductionI am Dr. Manish Kumar Goyal, a highly accomplished nursing professional holding a PhD in Nursing and an M.Sc. in Medical Surgical Nursing, complemented by my foundational status as a Registered Nurse and Midwife. Currently, I serve as a Lecturer at the College of Nursing, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi, a role I have held since 2019. With a strong track record of over 13 years of total teaching experience in the health science and nursing field, I have successfully progressed through various academic and administrative posts, including Tutor, Assistant Professor, and HOD. My career is driven by a primary objective: to secure a higher, challenging position where I can leverage my comprehensive skills and contribute significantly to organizational goals.
My academic journey reflects a dedication to continuous, multidisciplinary learning. Beyond my core professional degrees, I have secured specialized diplomas and certifications in several critical areas, including Critical Care Nursing (DCCN), Community Mental Health for Nurses, and Educational Management & Administration (PGDEMA). Furthermore, my expertise extends into holistic health practices, evidenced by additional qualifications in Naturopathy & Yoga Science and Alternative Medicine. This diverse educational foundation enables me to offer a unique perspective, combining acute patient care knowledge with broader administrative and psychological insights. I approach every task as a quick learner and am known for my confident, hard-working, and cooperative nature.
A significant part of my professional life is dedicated to advancing nursing literature and research. I actively contribute as an Assistant Editorial Board Member and Reviewer for several respected international index journals, including the International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research And Publication and the Journal of Nursing Practice & Education. This editorial work, combined with over a decade of research experience, has resulted in numerous published abstracts and paper presentations at international conferences on diverse topics like critical care and educational management.
