Dr. Lavanya J. is a highly accomplished Associate Professor and Gold Medalist in Clinical Microbiology with a strong background in Infectious Diseases and Hospital Management. She holds an MD in Microbiology from Lady Hardinge Medical College (Delhi University), where she was honored with the Shanta, Kamta & Nalin Bhargavas Medal for Best PG. She also completed her MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and a PG Diploma in Hospital Management from the National Institute of Health & Family Welfare.With over 12 years of experience in academia and clinical settings, she has held significant roles, including I/C Head of Department and Chief Warden at CIMS, Chikkamagalur. Her research is focused on Bacterial Pathogen Transfer and Antibiotic Resistance, and she has multiple publications in national and international journals, in addition to being a Co-Author for a textbook on medical toxicology. She is currently serving as an Associate Professor at CIMS, Chikkamagalur.
