My name is Ms. Hemangi Vyas. I am a qualified nursing professional with an academic background in Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) and Master of Science in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing). My academic and professional journey has provided me with valuable exposure to clinical nursing, nursing education, and research, which has strengthened my commitment to continuous professional development. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) from Kandar College of Nursing, Rajkot, during the 2015–2019 batch. This period provided me with a strong foundation in nursing theory, clinical practice, patient care, communication, and professional responsibilities. After completing my undergraduate education, I joined Shri Lalubhai Sheth Aarogya Mandir Hospital, Amreli, in 2021 as a Staff Nurse. I worked there for approximately one and a half years in the Surgical Department, where I gained practical experience in perioperative and postoperative nursing care, patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, infection prevention, and coordination with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Following my clinical experience, I joined the Institute of Kidney Transplantation Nursing College at Gujarat University of Transplantation Sciences, Ahmedabad, located within the Civil Hospital campus at Asarwa, for my M.Sc. Nursing. I specialized in Medical-Surgical Nursing, with a focused specialty in Nephrology and Urology. During my postgraduate education, I developed advanced knowledge and clinical skills related to patients with renal and urological disorders and gained deeper exposure to evidence-based nursing practice and research. I successfully completed my M.Sc. Nursing with distinction and secured Second Rank at the university level. After completing my postgraduate education, I joined KD Institute of Nursing Sciences, where I have been working from 9 October 2025 to the present. My role has provided me with opportunities to contribute to nursing education, classroom teaching, clinical supervision, student guidance, and academic activities. This experience has helped me develop greater confidence in teaching, communication, leadership, and academic responsibilities while continuously expanding my professional knowledge. Alongside clinical practice and nursing education, I have developed a strong interest in nursing research. My postgraduate research experience and subsequent involvement in academic activities have encouraged me to explore evidence-based approaches and contribute to the development of nursing knowledge. I look forward to continuing my professional growth through teaching, research, clinical learning, and meaningful contribution to the nursing profession.
