The term stem flap refers to a technique that transfers skin, and sometimes muscle or fat, from one area to another. This transferred tissue can be used for breast reconstruction or to cover complex wounds.Feracrylum, a water-soluble combination of partial ferrous salts (II and III) of polyacrylic acid, is one of the chemical hemostatic agents and an antibacterial agent. Its molecular weight ranges from 500,000 to 800,000 Daltons, which prevents systemic absorption and prevents any negative effects on the liver, kidney, adrenals, cardiovascular, or hemostatic systems. Feracrylum has antibacterial properties, which lowers the risk of wound infection. In this article we are trying to evaluate hemostatic and antibacterial properties of feracrylum.

Blood transfusion has been a life-saving medical practice for centuries, with its roots dating back to the 17th century. This article delves into the components of blood and the intricate process of blood transfusion, shedding light on the indispensable role that nurses play in ensuring its success. Blood comprises various components, including red blood cells (RBCs), white blood cells (WBCs), platelets, and plasma. Each of these elements serves distinct functions and requires specific transfusion protocols. The transfusion process is a highly regulated series of steps, starting with patient assessment and the selection of compatible donor blood. Nurses, as essential stakeholders in this process, carry out patient assessment, facilitate communication, verify compatibility, monitor the transfusion, and maintain meticulous documentation. Their roles extend beyond the technical aspects, encompassing patient advocacy, quality control, continual education, transfusion reaction management, emotional support, collaboration, patient monitoring, adherence to standards, and emergency response.The article also discusses critical topics related to blood transfusions, such as leukoreduction, irradiated blood products, graft-versus-host disease, and volume-reduced blood components.

Information systems are crucial for modern businesses, particularly in the healthcare sector, as they improve data accuracy, accessibility, and usability. Hospital information management systems (HIMS) are popular computer programs used to support healthcare services, enabling quick access to patient records, facilitating report delivery, and facilitating departmental cooperation. HIS integrates various aspects of hospital operations, such as electronic health records (EHR), patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing, invoicing, laboratory administration, pharmacy inventory control, and radiology imaging systems. Implementing HIS can enhance operational effectiveness, improve patient experience, health outcomes, and organizational funds. However, many hospitals still rely on manual operations and must transition to computerized techniques. Paperbased medical records are ineffective in providing timely information, leading to delays in decision-making, time-consuming and inefficient medical diagnoses and prescriptions, and delays in organ transplants. This study aims to understand stakeholders’ opinions on the existing system and identify areas for improvement.

The present study was Effectiveness of structure teaching programme on knowledge regarding first aid management and prevention for chocking in children among caregivers of under five children. Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of structure teaching programme on knowledge regarding first aid management and prevention for choking in children among caregivers of under five children at selected rural areas. Methodology: Research, Design-experimental descriptive design, sampling technique- Purposive sampling, Research Setting- selected Community areas Result: Here we can discuss about the effectiveness of structure teaching programme on knowledge regarding first aid management and prevention for chocking in children among caregivers of under five children as per set the criteria for poor, average and good. With regard to scores, 0 (0%) care giver had poor knowledge, 11 (55%) care giver had average knowledge and 9 (45%) care giver had good knowledge in Pretest but after giving the Structure teaching Programme the score was 0 (0%) care giver had poor knowledge, 17 (85%) care giver had average knowledge and 03 (15%) care giver had good knowledge in Post-test.

Context: Different workers have different customers, depending upon the nature of their job assignment. While by definition, different customers have different expectations they can be grouped together forming general classes of customer expectations. The aim of continuous quality improvement is to meet the customer expectations, not just the competition. Patient’s satisfaction is the primary goal of health care. Patients dissatisfied with the hospital services are clear indicators of uncompetitive health care being delivered. Nursing care forms a major part of the clinical services of the hospital. So, the patient’s satisfaction with the nursing care is accepted as one of the standard measures of quality of care and it is steadily gaining popularity. Objectives: To understand roles and responsibilities of staff nurses. To locate problem areas for the staff nurses on the floor. To obtain nurses’ feedback on their job description. Methods: Observing staff nurses across two shifts (morning and evening) and in-depth interviews by using a questionnaire. Findings: 33 staff nurses were interviewed against 10 structured questions. It was observed that while the percentage of resources available was high, the participation of the administration was only satisfactory and had scope for improvement. However, the culture among the staff was pretty focused towards quality improvement. Conclusion: While the staff nurses had resources and the culture to provide quality healthcare to the patients, the administration could boost their motivation by implementing multiple approaches and assessments on regular basis so as to improve the outcomes. Approaches like introducing incentives, regular training of staff, etc. can go a long way in service quality improvement.
