Background: Breast cancer is a leading cause of illness and death, with Breast SelfExamination (BSE) crucial for early detection. Adolescents need education and motivation to practice BSE regularly. Video-assisted teaching enhances awareness, understanding, and practice better than lectures, making schools and coaching centers effective platforms for implementing such health education programme. Objectives: 1) To assess the knowledge of adolescent girls regarding the technique of Breast Self Examination. 2) To conduct an assisted technique programme regarding technique of BSE among adolescent girls. 3) To evaluate the effectiveness video assisted teaching programme regarding the technique of BSE. 4) To found association between the level of pretest knowledge and selected demographic variable. Material and method: The study followed a systematic research process using a non - experimental quantitative approach with descriptive design. Setting of the study: The study was conducted in selected high school of Nagpur city and 40 adolescent girls were selected with probability convenient sampling technique. Pre test for assess there knowledge about breast self examination and after use of video assisted teaching programme there knowledge increase in post test. Result: The Video Assisted Teaching Programme was highly effective in improving adolescent girls’ knowledge of Breast Self-Examination, especially among adolescent age groups of girls. Conclusion: Out of five demographic variables analyzed using chi-square, only age showed a significant association with the level of knowledge (p < 0.05). The other variables type of family, area of residence, and socio-economic class showed no significant association with knowledge levels.

Introduction: This review aimed to synthesise evidence on the role of maternal digital health literacy (DHL) in shaping neonatal outcomes, identify barriers and facilitators influencing DHL, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions designed to improve maternal engagement with digital health platforms. Methods: An integrative review was conducted following Whittemore and Knafl’s framework. A systematic search was performed in PubMed, CINAHL, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar for studies published between 2010 and 2025. Eligible studies included quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research exploring DHL among mothers during pregnancy, postpartum, or the neonatal period, with reported neonatal outcomes. Data were extracted on study design, participants, interventions, and findings, and were synthesised thematically. Results: Twenty studies met the inclusion criteria. Evidence consistently demonstrated that higher maternal DHL was associated with improved neonatal outcomes, including increased adherence to immunisation, timely recognition of neonatal danger signs, improved breastfeeding practices, and reduced preventable morbidity. Interventions such as mobile health applications, SMS reminders, teleconsultations, and AI-driven counselling improved maternal engagement and neonatal care practices. Barriers included limited internet access, socioeconomic disparities, digital misinformation, and lack of culturally adapted tools. Sociodemographic factors such as maternal education and urban residence strongly influenced DHL.

Water birth has numerous advantages, including less discomfort, shorter labour times, less need for analgesics, the opportunity to shift positions during labour, and many more. Because so few people in India are aware of it, it is not as common there. Indications and contraindications, problems, alternatives, and the benefits and drawbacks of water birth are all covered in the article. Objectives: To record the practice of water immersion during labour and/or delivery (labour stages 1, 2, and 3) and evaluate the impact on the health of the mother, foetus, and newborn. To compare the results and safety of water immersion with traditional vaginal births and deliveries with epidural analgesia. Material and Methods: A comparison was made between 207 women who chose water birth and 204 women who had conventional vaginal deliveries and 191 women who had vaginal deliveries with epidural analgesia. Demographic information, the duration of the first, second, and third stages of labour, the need for an episiotomy and induction, perineal injuries, NICU requirements, apgar scores, and VAS scores were recorded. Result: Patients who had water births had shorter first stages of labour than those who had vaginal deliveries with epidural analgesia, while those who had water births had shorter second and third stages of labour than those who had traditional vaginal deliveries or vaginal deliveries with epidural analgesia. Water birth patients experienced greater perineal lacerations but required fewer induction and episiotomy. Every woman giving birth by water had lower VAS scores and a decreased need for analgesia. Regarding NICU admission, there was no difference between the groups. Both groups’ Apgar scores were similar. During the trial, neither neonatal infections nor neonatal deaths occurred

Childhood cancer represents a devastating diagnosis that not only disrupts the life of the affected child but also profoundly impacts parents, who are the primary caregivers. With nearly 400,000 new pediatric cancer cases reported worldwide each year, and about 50,000 in India alone, the burden extends far beyond medical treatment. Advances in oncology have significantly improved survival outcomes, yet the psychosocial consequences for parents remain underexplored, especially in low- and middle-income countries. Parents of children with cancer face considerable psychological distress, manifested through anxiety, depression, anticipatory grief, and post-traumatic stress symptoms. Such distress is particularly pronounced during diagnosis and active treatment but may persist for years, even after remission. The quality of life (QoL) of parents is significantly impaired across multiple domains physical, psychological, social, and financial. Mothers, often the primary caregivers, report higher levels of emotional distress and role strain, while fathers are more affected by economic responsibilities and occupational challenges. Coping mechanisms vary, ranging from problem-solving and spirituality to maladaptive avoidance strategies. Social and cultural factors further shape parental responses, influencing both resilience and vulnerability. Holistic nursing care plays a critical role in mitigating these challenges. Nurses, by virtue of their close and continuous interaction with families, are uniquely positioned to provide comprehensive support. Evidence-based strategies such as psychosocial assessment, counseling, stress management programs, mindfulnessbased interventions, and family-centered care are effective in reducing distress and enhancing QoL. Additionally, culturally sensitive approaches that integrate family beliefs and spiritual practices are essential in diverse contexts like India
