Public Sector Enterprises are meant for social transformation and stable functioning before globalization era. The scenario has been changed after globalisation in India. Many private players and MNC’s with Direct foreign investments entered into Strategic sector also. Due to this even the core areas in Public Sector domain has been privatised.

Government policies, have made DPSUs to face stiff competition from among them, private sectors and MNCs. A sea change has taken place for the DPSUs also. Accordingly, select DPSU has transitioned from monopolistic environment to competitive environment from private players in the missile manufacturing domain and facing a volatile environment to compete in the competitive environment for its products to deliver to the suppliers at a cost-effective manner. Hence, a need is felt to implement change management practices to augment organizational effectiveness and performance for its sustainability. The researcher thought that Leadership is one of the dominant factors for organizational performance and sustainability. Therefore a case study of a Defence PSU has been undertaken to identify the leadership styles and its relation to organizational performance. The results show that there is a relationship exists between leadership styles and organizational performance.

As a Western ideology and offshoot of communism, the ideology of socialism could prevail in many places. It had a lot of adherents in several parts of the world. In the land of Arabs, socialist ideology grew parallel to communism as a protest against capitalism. After the first world war and the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, the highly educated middle classes of west Asia thought about the necessity of an ideological upheaval that could end the region's established ruling systems. Socialists called for political liberty and economic changes. They motivated Arabs to be united and acquire their own dignity from the flood of European influence. Social justice and Arab nationalism were the central themes of Arab socialism. There were very few political parties that supported socialism in the Middle East; the Ba'th party and Nasserist Movement were prominent. The ideology has become perished throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

This article intends to add something new to the body of scholarship on Bhutan's IR by moving away from a solely India–China frame of reference. Small, non-island, and non-western governments, like Bhutan, are increasingly important yet under-studied in international relations, and it is an important reason to pay greater attention to them. The article also highlights how conventional studies of Bhutan have only concentrated on Bhutan's relationship with India as well as Chinese threats. This results in a better understanding of Bhutan's internal drivers of foreign policy, such as its position on the Doklam crisis. This study postulates new dimensions and insight into Bhutan's global diplomacy.

With the transforming scenario between state led development and decentralized institutions at both the national and global levels, followed by introduction of neoliberal agenda in working of public sector enterprises; the country’s democracy, it’s local governance structures, marginalized and deprived sections of the society get the most affected. And, in India, it impacted positively to some dimensions while leaving something for the future. Thus, this paper examines the role of decentralization at grassroots of India for making more of a representative, participative and resilient democracy for mainstreaming of deprived sections of society especially in context of women. Social inequality and inadequate political engagement often impairs not only the mainstreaming of the neglected but also integrity of democracy is hampered. Therefore, political participation of the marginalized by means of capacity building, affirmative action, representative elections and right to vote legitimizes any political system as democratic making decentralization as a potent instrument to overcome the handicaps.

In the present research, an analytical study of the reality of nationalist tendencies in Indian culture has been done. Nationalism may have taken the form of a political term in the present times, but in the eyes of Indian mystics, the soul of the nation is found in cultural beliefs. When it comes to Indian thought, both nation and state are seen as different concepts. The nationalism of India is basically cultural nationalism.

The cultural nationalism on which the foundation of India rests, aims at all inclusive, all round welfare. But in reality these two words have different meanings. The nationalist mindset of India and the culture of India is against narrow nationalism. The message of Indian culture has always been about knowledge and love and it believes in the principle of 'Vasadhaiva kutumbakam'. People whose mind is full of auspicious thoughts, they dedicate their life in the interest of the nation. True nationalists mold their lives according to their aspirations, their dreams and their principles. It is often believed that it is very difficult for a person who is not resourceful to fulfill his dreams. However, if a person bases only on his lack of means, then he can fulfill all his dreams, all his aspirations without sacrificing his principles.

This article discusses Islamic feminism and the importance of Islamic feminism in its history. What is Islamic feminism, and how does Islamic feminism differ from the feminism of other religions and feminist moments? What is the influence of feminism in India? Muslim feminism and how can political, legal, economic and social rights be changed in the lives of Muslim women or is feminism already embodied in Muslim personal law? What are the changes and reforms in Muslim private law after Islamic feminism in India? In this article, I report on the emerging "Islamic feminist" movement in India, which has dedicated itself to achieving gender equality under Muslim private law. In this article, I will argue that a clear distinction needs to be made between Islamic feminism as a discursive movement and the individual local, national or transnational social and political movements that increasingly rely on this discourse.

Women in the Vedic ages accepted their due acknowledgment in the public arena as well as got equivalent treatment in the question of instructive preparing. Over the last three decades, the foreign policy of Russia has undergone major transformations, at least on three occasions. Right from being over dependent on the West in the early 1990s to becoming self-sufficient in the economic field and pragmatic in foreign affairs in the first decade of the present century and finally turning into an aggressive and assertive mode, Russia has travelled a long path. The present paper aims to give an overview of the transition of Russian foreign policy during the course of last three decades with special emphasis on the theoretical linkages between domestic politics and foreign policy, particularly during the tenure of Vladimir Putin. Finally, the paper focuses on research findings along with the subjective views of the author with in the neo-realist framework.

Digital media is transforming how political parties communicate with voters, bridging gaps like never before. Given today's period of increasing social media usage and growing internet penetration as a result of increased smart phone usage on the one hand, and saturation of conventional mediums on the other, digital media provides the ideal platform for political parties to reach audiences globally. The usage of digital and social media expands the reach of communication efforts and allows for advocacy to be targeted and tailored to the audiences that marketers/campaigners are attempting to reach.
