Abstract

The great personalities till now have achieved big position in life just because of their hard work and education. Education is the only medium by which you can win this world. Education is a conducive process which drugs a person from darkness, poverty and misery by developing his individuality in all its aspects- physical, mental, emotional and social so that a person can become responsible, dynamic, resourceful and enterprising citizen of strong good moral character. In the age of globalization and information, the nation faces challenges of education on several fronts, namely adult and continuing education, school education, higher education and professional education. The challenges vary not from one level to another but also from one region to another with gender disparities, rural urban disparities etc. Moreover with the increasing population, it has become difficult to provide education to all through traditional methods as they are not sufficient and not par with the growing requirements of modern education.
