IntroductionMy name is Komal Vala, and I am an experienced nursing educator and Assistant Professor specializing in Child Health Nursing. Over the past six years, I have dedicated my career to inspiring and empowering the next generation of nursing professionals through academic excellence, research, and mentorship.
Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor at the KD Institute of Nursing Sciences in Ahmedabad. Prior to this role, I advanced through various academic positions, working as an M.Sc. Nursing Tutor at reputable institutions including the K.J. School of Nursing, Shri H.V. Mehta Institute of Nursing, and Brahmanand College of Nursing. I began my teaching journey at the Sodha School of Nursing. This diverse background has allowed me to develop robust teaching methodologies and deeply understand the evolving needs of healthcare students.
My clinical and theoretical foundation is backed by a Master of Science in Child Health Nursing from Saurashtra University, where I graduated with distinction, achieving 72.23%. I also hold my B.Sc. in Nursing from the same university. I am a fully registered professional with the Gujarat Nursing Council and hold a verified NUID registration. Trilingual in Gujarati, Hindi, and English, I can connect with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
