Introduction


Dr. Saswat Samant is a dedicated and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon with an MS in Orthopaedics and an MBBS.He has significant clinical experience, currently serving as a Senior Resident in the Department of Orthopaedics at the Kalinga Institute of Medical Science, Bhubaneswar since October 2017. Prior to this, he held Registrar and Junior Resident roles in Orthopaedics at Apollo Hospital Bhubaneswar and Hi-tech Medical College and Hospital, respectively.Dr. Samant has a strong academic and research profile, with two papers presented at major conferences (OOACON and IOACON 2016) and an impressive list of 16 published research papers in various international and national journals. His research focuses on diverse orthopaedic topics, including trauma management (e.g., pilon fractures, proximal femoral nailing), post-operative care (e.g., Colles fracture management), and infectious orthopaedic conditions.He maintains professional affiliations as a Life Member of the Odisha Orthopaedic Association and an Associate Member of the Indian Orthopaedic Association. His comprehensive background in clinical practice, research, and continuous medical education makes him a committed professional in the field of orthopaedic surgery.
