Introduction


I have been working exclusively in Cardiac Anaesthesia, KEM hospital since September2008as an Additional Professor and then Professor & HOD Cardiac Anaesthesia from August 2020.

Prior to joining  this prestigious Institue of seth G S M C & KEM Hospital, Mumbai   I have work experience as an Assistant professor as well as Associate professor in anaesthesiology in Cardio-vascular and thoracic operation theatre at BYL Nair Hospital of more than 10 years. Thus I have total 30 years of exclusive work experience and 14 years of teaching experience in the super-specialty of Cardiac Anaesthesia for DM course and Fellowship course affiliated by  MUHS, Nashik(Govt.Of Maharashtra)

I have worked in the field of Cardiac Anaesthesiology at various academic positions(posts) viz. Asst.Prof. , Assoc. Prof and Addl. Prof. till date. I have special interest in heart transplantation programme and pediatric cardiac anesthesia. I have actively participated in various clinical workshops held by Dept. of CVTS and Cardiology Dept., from time to time as Cardiac Anaesthesiologist.

I have been recognized as Post Graduate teacher of Cardiac Anaesthesia by MUHS, Nashik and MCI since 2012 and hold mentorship for fellowship in Cardiac Anasethesia since 2010 at Seth G.S medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai.till date trained 25 students of DM and Fellowship in Cardiac Anaesthesia altogether.Prior to that I was recognized postgraduate Teacher of Anaesthesiology at MUHS Nashik.
