Introduction

I am Dr Ritu Bala Soni working as an associate professor in the department of anatomy at Gandhi Medical College Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India.First of all I would like to express gratitude towards you & a great thanks to you that you consider me as a member of National editorial board of Indian journal of anatomy. I really try to follow dadhichi path means I'll  be always ready to serve as a beneficiary towards humanity. I have a keen interest for spreading awareness about organ and body donation in general population so I propagate promotional messages for organ or body donation by which I want to spread awareness towards organ donation in family of a deceased member.  I also registered as an organ donor on NOTTO and I would  donate my organs (…
[9:19 pm, 27/8/2024] Ritu Bala Ija: But if by any reason I wouldn't be able to donate my organs for suppose if most of my organs are non functioning at the time just prior to death, then I have another option that's to donate my body as a mark of humanity. If we donate our organs to someone other, than it will be best gift of their life & will present them with a Second Life.
I give a message to the general population that there is no need to take your organ or body to heaven or no need to burn  out in ashes as our ritruals says.Leaving the Legacy of life and kindly donating your organ or body, this also preserver's your life after your death(life after life).

I always try to make understand the general population that from a single body donation many medical students learn the internal structure or gross anatomy of our body.Your body converts in cadaver by preserving it in formalin and prepare it for anatomical dissection.Cadaver is the best teacher for medical students and after learning from it a registered medical practitioner is generated & treats several patients. So give a moment to reflect that by your single body donation you become a humanity beneficiary even after your life . I always try to explain M.B.B.S. Students that cadaveric dissection in Anatomy is a crucial learning tool for medical students and correlating it with a clinical point of view in understanding and retention. because I am an anatomist so I'm always ready to discuss clinical cases and scenarios during dissection , it promotes integration of anatomical knowledge with in clinical practices.
I always try to search more and more variation in a cadaver during dissection and try to correlate anatomical variations (specially artery and nerve) with clinical implication /surgery, By  correlating dissection with clinical relevance, students deepen their understanding of human anatomy and its application in medical practice. My keen interest also is in naturopathy and yoga and I try to coordinate both these  traditional sciences with modern medicine.
