Dr. Rajathi Sakthivel completed her graduation, post-graduation, and doctoral studies at The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Guindy, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. She also completed an M.A (Psychology), a PG Diploma in Hospital Management (PGDHM) from Annamalai University, an M.Phil ( Guidance and Counseling ) from Mother Theresa Women’s University in Kodikananl, and a PG Diploma in Yoga Education from Allagapa University in Tamil Nadu. She rendered her clinical services for 2.2 years as an ICU staff nurse at Apollo Hospitals; and 17.7 years of academic services and holds various postings like Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Professor. For her meritorious services, 2021 received the Women Researcher Award from the International Scientist Forum, in 2019 Service with Humanity Award from Thaangum Vizhuthugal and Lions Club Association, and received the Excellence Award for Outstanding Contribution of Peer Reviewer from 2018 to 2023 from various international indexed journals. She is an editorial board member for Texila International Nursing journals and 2 National Nursing journals, from Red Flower publications. She also contributed one chapter to the Textbook of Pediatric Nursing, CBS Publishers-2023. So far, she organized one National conference for the Promotion of adolescent health and one state-level workshop on Maternal and child health promotion. Till now, she is credited with more than 65 publications in PubMed and Scopus-Indexed journals for professional and general viewers, apart from this presented 14 scientific papers and 18 concept papers as a resource person at State, National, and international conferences, and has also been awarded three times for best paper presentation.
