I,am an orthopaedic surgeon with more than 10 years clinical practice.I Did my under graduation in Bangalore .Following which I pursued my masters in Orthopedic surgery in KarnatakaI further went on to do multpile fellowships in Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy and sports injuries and a Diploma in Football and sports medicine.It was during the course of these centred I started studying about the importance and value of good quality research and was able to do some good quality work in each centre as well as a multi-centre study.Through the course of my clinical education, I have imbibed a deep interest in research and publications through the course of my medical practice and firmly believe that good clinical practice can only be complete with good clinical work.Practicing in a metro city with the a heavy clinical practice can put research work into perspective.As good clinical work stems from good knowledge of the latest techniques and methods.Research interests varied from case reports , to comparative studies , retrospective analysis and multi-centre studies.I have currently co-authored a chapter on the recent guideline in ATLS PROTOCOLS which is awaiting publication.I have numerous publications in National and International Journals publishes over a span of & years and currents have 4 pending papers in various stages of publication.This continued onto reviewing multiple papers and publications with various journals and publications and will continue to pursue this with the same enthusiasm as I did when I started on day one.
