I am Dr. Poojashree C, Assistant Professor in
the Department of Pathology at Sri Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences and
Research Centre, Bengaluru, India. I completed my MBBS from ESIC Medical
College, Bengaluru, and MD in Pathology from Bangalore Medical College and Research
Institute. My professional experience encompasses diagnostic histopathology,
cytology, hematology, clinical pathology, transfusion medicine, bone marrow
examination, immunohistochemistry, and laboratory quality management. I have a
keen academic interest in surgical pathology, gastrointestinal pathology,
thyroid pathology, diagnostic immunohistochemistry, hematopathology, and
emerging applications of digital pathology and artificial intelligence in
diagnostic and medical education. I have been actively involved in
undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, academic activities, research,
scientific writing, and manuscript review. My research experience includes
clinicopathological studies, immunohistochemical evaluation of neoplasms,
hematological parameters, laboratory quality control, and pathology education.
I have contributed to research publications and have developed experience in
critically assessing scientific manuscripts for methodological rigor,
appropriate study design, data analysis, interpretation of findings, and
validity of conclusions. I am particularly interested in reviewing manuscripts
related to histopathology, cytology, immunohistochemistry, hematopathology,
laboratory medicine, and pathology education.
