Introduction

I would like to mention that i acquired University First Rank in Under Graduation and Post Graduation and i was awarded Best Poster Presentation on work entitled ‘Role of Bone marrow Stem Cells in Treating Spinal Cord Injury: An experimental study using a rat model of spinal cord injury’. In Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi in 3rd International Conference on stem cells and cancer (ICSCC 2012 October 27-30) I was fortunate to do work on “Gestational Exposure to Hexavalent T Chromium Interferes with Expression of Specific Genes Involved in Sex Differentiation’ which was presented at International comparative endocrinology conference held on 15th July 2013, Spain by my research colleagues from department of endocrinology, University of Madras. Under collaboration with my fellow lab scholars and researchers, i got opportunity to do notable work on “Role of PARP inhibitor, 3-aminobenzamide in the Mechanism of programmed neuronal necrosis in Neuro 2A cells under tert-BOOH induced oxidative stresses, which was presented by my colleague in 8th world congress of neuroscience, International Brain Research Organization (IBRO), Florence, Italy, 2011. As part of post PhD research i was engaged in the work titled “Rescue of axotomized motor cortical neurons from death by bone marrow derived stromal cells transplantation after spinal cord injury in rodent model which was presented by my lab colleagues in Korea, IBRO Reports, in the year 2019.
