It is a pleasure to introduce myself. I am Dr. Anandraj Vaithy K, an accomplished academic administrator, Professor of Pathology, and Health Professional Educationist at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (SBV) Deemed to be University. My professional journey, spanning over 14 years with the institution and 8 years in teaching and administration, is defined by a deep commitment to excellence in health science education and strategic administrative leadership. My core objective is to leverage this comprehensive knowledge to drive administrative efficiency and leadership in health science universities.
My administrative focus is primarily in the intricate domain of examination systems, serving as the Assistant Controller of Examination at SBV University. In this capacity, I have been instrumental in spearheading crucial reforms, including the successful implementation of automation in examination processes and standardizing the current Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) and fellowship course examinations. I possess extensive practical knowledge of the norms and regulations set by all major statutory bodies—such as the NMC, UGC, DCI, and NAAC—ensuring that all processes are fully compliant and future-ready, particularly with updates proposed under the National Education Policy. Furthermore, my hands-on experience extends to managing pre and post-examination confidential processes, reflecting a strong grasp of data management and administrative best practices.
Beyond my administrative and academic roles, I am a practicing Onco-Pathologist and Clinical Pathologist with specialization in areas like Cytopathology and quality control management, contributing 54 research papers to various indexed journals. As a seasoned health professional education faculty and an executive member of the Medical Education Unit and the Academic Council, I actively contribute to curriculum alignment and integration efforts, particularly for the CBME curriculum. I am well-trained in Bioethics and Research Coordination and have completed advanced administrative training through courses like the JRLMP, affirming my leadership qualities and team dynamics expertise. My commitment is to uphold the spirit of SBV in every task, enhancing the institution's academic and administrative stature.
