I, Dr. Hina Sharma, am an academician and experienced anatomist, currently serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Anatomy at Pacific Medical College & Hospital, Udaipur. I hold an MBBS and MD in Anatomy, and brings with me over a decade of rich teaching experience. My career journey reflects steady growth, progressing from Junior Resident in 2013 to my current role as Professor, a position I have held since October 2023.

I deeply involved in medical education, having completed foundational and advanced training programs including the Revised Basic Course Workshop, ATCOM Sensitization Program, and the Advanced Course in Medical Education. I actively contribute to educational innovation through research and workshops, such as developing a blueprint for anatomy theory assessment and exploring plastination techniques for teaching aids.

An avid participant in national and international conferences, I have presented posters and papers on varied topics such as fetal biometric assessments, cadaveric lung morphometry, and cadaver maintenance practices. My prolific academic output includes numerous publications in reputed journals. Notably, I have authored both the first and second editions of the Practical Manual of Histology, published by CBS Publishers.

My ongoing research delves into medicolegal height estimation using foot length and the development of formalin-free preservation techniques for anatomical specimens. My contributions extend to cross-disciplinary work, with studies on premenstrual symptoms among urban women and clinical research in general surgery.

Through my academic leadership, dedication to teaching, and extensive research, I continue to play a vital role in advancing anatomical education and healthcare training in India.
