I, Dr Suman Saini, Professor, have more than 20 yr of experience as an Anaesthetist. In 2001, I started this journey as a postgraduate student in PGIMS, Rohtak (HR). After completion of DA & DNB (Secondary), I did my Senior Residency (2007-10) from prestigious institute, MAMC and LNJP Hospital, ND. Thereafter, I joined as an Assistant Professor in a dedicated Pediatric Hospitals, Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalya, New Delhi. After serving there for over an year, in 2011, I joined as a regular Assistant Professor in VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, ND, the largest central government hospital. Since then I have been working in the same institute. While being in Safdarjung hospital, I did observership in premeier institute AIIMS, ND, for Renal Transplant Anaesthesia. I had been one of the founder member of the kidney transplant team and successfully conducted many live and cadaveric renal transplants. Im a BCLS and CCLS instructor and have organized many such courses in our institute. I am member of various anaesthesia societies like ISA, RSACPCON, IAPA, ISCCM and AMF. I have been an Examiner for MD and for B.Sc Medical Technology in different universities. I actively participate in various conferences and workshops as faculty. I have reviewed many thesis from DNB and various universities. Areas of my special interest are Regional anaesthesia, Resuscitation, Airway management and Pediatric anaesthesia.
