Introduction

I am an academic pediatric pathologist and oncopathologist with over 14 years of teaching and diagnostic experience. My professional focus is on pediatric benign and malignant tumors, renal pathology, and the integration of immunohistochemistry and molecular techniques into routine diagnostic practice. I currently serve as Additional Professor of Pathology at the Postgraduate Institute of Child Health (PGICH), NOIDA, a tertiary-care pediatric centre, where I lead diagnostic services in pediatric histopathology, cytopathology, and immunohistochemistry and contribute to the development of molecular pathology infrastructure.

As Ambassador of the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) and a Clinical Fellow/Observer in Pediatric Pathology at the Royal London Hospital, NHS, UK, I have gained international exposure to state-of-the-art pediatric oncopathology practices. I have more than 50 publications, including original research, case series, and a book chapter, and I regularly mentor postgraduate residents and technical staff. My current research explores placental immunohistochemical markers in intrauterine growth restriction and stillbirth, proliferative indices in pediatric tumors, and inflammatory pathways in extrahepatic biliary atresia. These projects align closely with my long-term goal of establishing a comprehensive pediatric benign and oncopathology centre integrating histopathology, immunocytochemistry, and molecular diagnostics.

I have substantial experience in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, clinicopathological discussions, and cross-specialty collaboration with pediatric surgeons, oncologists, nephrologists, and radiologists. Taken together, my training, diagnostic background, and research record position me well to contribute to collaborative pediatric pathology and oncopathology projects at the national and international level.
