IntroductionI am Dr. Archana N. Rijhsinghani, a highly dedicated medical professional based in Mumbai with an MD in Pathology and over eight years of experience. I currently serve as a Consultant Histopathologist at Agilus Diagnostics Dr Phadke Labs, a role I have held since December 2020. My core expertise lies in the independent signing of complex histopathology and cytopathology reports, covering both oncopathology and non-neoplastic cases. I am also proficient in advanced diagnostic techniques, including Immunohistochemistry, performing Frozen Sections, and precise Grossing.
My strong medical foundation was established during my MBBS and MD training at the prestigious Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, followed by a pivotal Senior Residency at the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), where I functioned as an independent NABL-accredited signatory. During my tenure at TMH, I was honoured with the Dr. Sumati Shrikhande Trophy for Best Resident Award in 2016, recognizing my academic and clinical excellence. Furthermore, I have three years of experience in teaching junior residents, reflecting my commitment to mentorship and the development of future pathologists.
I actively contribute to the scientific community through robust research and professional engagement. My academic portfolio includes 13 publications in peer-reviewed journals, focusing on diverse and rare cases, and I also serve as an article reviewer for medical journals. I maintain active membership in professional organizations, including the Indian Academy of Cytology (IAC) and the IAPM, and regularly present work at major conferences like Cytocon.
