Introduction

Dr. Agrima Sundriyal, is working as a Consultant in Neuroanaesthesia and Neurocritical Care at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram.

I completed my MBBS from Government Medical College, Haldwani, followed by DNB in Anaesthesiology from Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram. My professional journey has been primarily focused on anaesthesia, neuroanaesthesia, and the comprehensive management of critically ill neurological patients.

After completing my postgraduate training, I worked as a Senior Resident in Anaesthesiology at GB Pant Hospital and Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital in Delhi. I subsequently pursued a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neuroanaesthesia at Artemis Hospitals, which further strengthened my interest and expertise in neuroanaesthesia and neurocritical care.

Over the years, I have gained experience in the perioperative management of complex neurosurgical patients, neurocritical care, and the management of critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and organ support. I have also developed a keen interest in transcranial Doppler and noninvasive neuromonitoring, particularly in the assessment and management of patients with acute neurological conditions.

Academically, I have completed MNAMS and the European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care from the UK in 2025. I was also awarded a Certificate of Excellence by the National Board of Examinations for my anaesthesia thesis.

My key areas of professional interest include neuroanaesthesia, neurocritical care, transcranial Doppler, difficult airway management, and noninvasive neuromonitoring. I am particularly interested in evidence-based clinical practice, multidisciplinary teamwork, teaching, and continuous professional development.

I believe that good neuroanaesthesia requires not only technical expertise, but also sound physiological understanding, anticipation of complications, effective communication, and careful individualized decision-making. My goal is to provide safe, thoughtful, and patient-centered care while contributing positively to the team.

I look forward to contributing my clinical experience, academic interests, and commitment to patient care while continuing to learn and grow in the field of neuroanaesthesia and neurocritical care.
