While modern healthcare and the pandemic have surely been taking a care on the economic and health concerning aspects of the world, a very underrated issue that has been on the rise lately is dealing with the constant stream of biomedical waste being churned out by the pharmacies, hospitals, clinics and patients alike. A light is to be shed on this issue and plausible ways to deal with it. The rapid review method was used in the study for quick analysis of articles and literature taken from a fixed time period to produce a quick review. Rapid review was chosen here as the main method because the field of covid-19 is ever evolving and quick, on-spot analysis is needed to keep with the latest research.

Why it is considered as normal to leave the garbage and waste in the open surface in a society like India? The reason behind such failure is the act or culture of the households and the local processors that leaving the garbage and waste in the open environment is normal as other users are being benefited from its existence in the open surface. Therefore, it is important for the government to increase awareness about the hazards that are posed from the existence of the garbage and waste in the environment to the households to reducing the amount of garbage produced and increasing the capacity of the local processors to manage the waste and garbage more professionally.

The natural resource management is the taking care of natural resources like land, water. It has been noticed that use and abuse of natural resources is a key issue that has been caused by man kind. The misuse of natural resources directly or indirectly refers to excessive use, destructive use or achieving imbalance between natural resources either individually or in combination. The purpose of current study was to investigate the role of Rural women in natural resources management and utilization in Ganderbal district, Central Kashmir of J&K region. The role of women in natural resource management is crucial for sustainable development. This abstract explores the multifaceted contributions of women of this domain, including their roles as farmers, forest users, and water managers women”s local knowledge and expertise often lead to effective resource conservation and community resilience. Despite the large contributions of women, women often face problems such as limited access to resources and decision making power. By providing women in natural resource management can enhance conservation efforts and promote equitable and inclusive development. In the current study quantitative as well as qualitative data was collected from 400 rural women selected at random using simple random sampling technique. The data collected were analyzed using appropriate statistical tools. The study revealed that the respondents understudy in majority have limited access of latest technology, skill training, education, extension services and current information. In order to strengthen the women’s participation in resources management and sustainable uses, the researchers suggest that suitable measures should be taken to empower women in decision making, skill training, education and extension activities.
