The predicament of street children in the major urban pockets of the state of Odisha namely, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur, Sambalpur, and Rourkela are taken in this study. Any boy or girl who has made the street to be their regular abode or source of support is considered to be a street child. The towns so selected for the study are rapidly expanding and they were chosen as representative of the whole state for gathering information about the socio-economic and living circumstances of street children. This study suggests that street children should receive thoughtful care, emotional support, and a nutritious diet so that they are not at risk for their health and work. To integrate street children into mainstream society, street education or alternative arrangements be made developed, and also vocational training arrangements be made for substantially aged children who will not be willing to join the school.

Body image or how a person appears to self has been an important part of the lives of people. Since the 19th century when corsets were a part of the life of a woman to achieve a perfect “hourglass” waistline to today when products advertise if not in perfect shape people will give you less attention! So they market products that can make you “slim” not “healthy”! Earlier, rather even now it is a societal issue, but now there are more methods and ways which are more approachable than ever before, thanks to social media and marketing apps. So they don’t let you realize how actually you are but they make you realize how important is their product for you to look as perfect as others in their advertising campaign. This is a literature review of the research on body image and co-relational studies with other variables.

Much of what we thought we knew about genetics needs to be modified in light of recent discoveries. What are the implications of these advances for identifying genes responsible for the high heritability of many behavioral disorders and dimensions in childhood? Although quantitative genetics such as twin studies will continue to yield important findings, nothing will advance the field as much as identifying the specific genes responsible for heritability. Advances in molecular genetics have been driven by technology, especially DNA microarrays the size of a postage stamp that can genotype a million DNA markers simultaneously. The ultimate goal of GWA is to sequence each individual’s entire genome, which has begun to happen.

All people are born free and equal in dignity and rights. This guiding principle of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, 1948 lives strong in the hearts and minds of millions of people. Human rights, being the birthright, are, therefore, inherent in all individuals as they are consonant with their freedom and dignity and are conducive to physical, moral, social, and spiritual welfare. Therefore, human rights do not mean merely the right to live with humanity but mean the right to live with dignity. The fundamental object of the criminal justice system is to provide protection to the innocent and to punish the offenders. Every society has a judicial system for the protection of its law-abiding members; it has to make provisions for prisons for lawbreakers. However, it does not mean that prisoners have no rights. Except for the right to movement, the right to form an association, and the right to carry on any trade or business, or occupation, prisoners are equally entitled to enjoy many constitutional and human rights like any other ordinary man. As per the Constitutional mandates, every country’s judiciary has a great responsibility to protect the human rights of its citizens. Though judicial interpretation has in the Indian context, progressively expanded the human rights content of the law, and the Supreme Court, in the recent past, has been very vigilant against violations of the human rights of the prisoners. But, in many cases still, prisoners are denied the very rights that are fundamental to their being human beings. With this view, the author attempted to analyze the judicial response in standardizing the norms to mitigate the hardship caused to prisoners in the given circumstances.

Environmental pollution is a core issue involved in the protection of the environment in highly developed countries. The growth of skill and machinery has no doubt brought about a radical change in individual livelihood leading to developed and developing countries where there is communication and transport play a vital role and have provided an increase to trade and commerce on the global level. Human activities, such as deforestation and modernization, are affecting the natural habitat necessary for human survival. Environmentalists have recommended various ways of controlling overpopulation and other means of getting alternative sources of energy, such as solar and wind power. Article 51(A)-(g) and 48-A of the Indian constitution enables the right to life and has been interpreted by the courts as legally binding in all respects. The role played by the higher judiciary regarding the cases related to the violation of environmental and human rights has been acquired. The Supreme Court has not only played a crucial role in the implementation of environmental laws but also interpreted the right to life. Mismanagement in the appropriate dumping of liquid, gas, and solid wastes and hazardous remaining substances from industries and factories is now another point for polluting the environment and damaging the ecosystem.

In this study, we aimed to determine the effects of physical therapy in the treatment of psychiatric disorders. Psychosocial therapies are required to address the rising mental health burden. Within the multidisciplinary care of patients with mental health disorders, physiotherapists could play a key role in lowering stress and supporting rehabilitation. The goal of this systematic study was to look into the function of physiotherapists in today's mental health policies. Serious mental illness puts people at an increased risk of physical sickness. With greater levels of cardiovascular disease, metabolic disease, diabetes, and respiratory sickness, mortality rates are at least twice those of the general population. Although genetics may play a role in some patients' physical health issues, lifestyle and environmental variables such as smoking, obesity, a poor diet, and a lack of physical activity also play a significant influence.

From time immemorial, a constant struggle has been going on between labour and capital. In fact, the history of labour struggle is nothing but a continuous demand for a fair return to labour expressed in different forms, e.g., (a) increase in wages, (b) resistance to decrease in wages, (c) grant of allowances and other benefits. Labour is necessarily dynamic and has been interpreted in different ways from country to country depending upon time to time and even in the same country according to social institutions, degree of industrialisation and general level of social and economic development. Labour welfare constitutes the provision of service facilities and amenities as it helps in creating a healthy and congenial environment. The Government of India evinced interest in the welfare programmes introduced for labour in their ordinance, ammunition and other factories engaged in production.
