Post-hospitalization recovery for individuals with mental illness is a critical phase that requires comprehensive support and management. Following a mental health crisis, patients may experience a range of challenges, including emotional instability, anxiety, and difficulty reintegrating into daily life. Effective management strategies are essential for promoting healing and preventing relapse. This paper reviews various approaches to post-hospitalization care, emphasizing the importance of a Ayurvedic science that includes therapy, medication management, and lifestyle modifications. Key components such as establishing a strong support system, implementing self-care practices, and recognizing triggers are discussed. Additionally, the integration of holistic approaches, such as mindfulness and wellness therapies, is explored as a means to enhance emotional resilience. By fostering a supportive environment and personalized care, individuals can achieve sustainable recovery and improve their overall well-being following hospitalization. Ayurveda offers a holistic approach, emphasizing personalized treatment based on individual constitution (dosha) and natural remedies. Key components include herbal therapies like Ashwagandha and Brahmi, dietary modifications towards a Sattvic diet, and lifestyle practices such as yoga and meditation. Techniques like Panchkarma provide detoxification, while daily routines enhance stability. By addressing the mind-body connection, Ayurveda aims to promote emotional well-being, reduce anxiety, and support long-term recovery. This approach encourages a comprehensive understanding of mental health, fostering resilience and balance in post-hospitalization recovery.

Introduction: Prameha has been mentioned among the Astamahagadhas in Ayurvedic classics and is considered the Yapyaroga. Diabetes mellitus can be correlated to the Madhumeha, which is one of the types of Vataja Prameha and is characterised by the impaired metabolism of glucose. According to Ayurvedic literature, Prameha is considered the Santarpanajanya Vyadhi that is mainly characterised by Trishna which can be Polydipsia; Paani Paada Daha-burning sensation of the palms and feet; and Prabhutaavilamutrata, which can be considered Polyuria. Worldwide, the prevalence rate of diabetes mellitus (DM) has been increasing, and India is the rising capital of diabetes. Until 2000, the total number of recorded diabetes patients was 171 million, and it is expected to increase by around 366 million by the year 2030. The need of the hour is to find efficient management for the alleviation of Prameha. Dhanwantari Nighantu is an Ayurvedic classical book known as Guduchyadi Nighantu that deals with many Pramehahara dravyas. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to enlist the dravyas useful in prameha from Dhanwantari Nighantu and analyse critically based on the studies and their Rasapanchakas. Materials and methods: Along with Dhanwantari Nighnatu other suitable Ayurvedic literature, journals, and Internet media were also used for collecting information. Results and Discussion: The drugs are classified into seven Vargas in this Nighantu among them, 34 drugs have Pramehahara property. These drugs help physicians and researchers either treat Prameha or explore unknown drugs for Prameha. So, the present study has been done to analyse the potent herbal remedies for the management of Prameha.

Background: Haemorrhoids, affecting 20-50% of the global population, significantly impact healthcare systems. In India, the prevalence is nearly 75%, exacerbated by inadequate preventive measures. This study explores the efficacy of Ayurvedic management for haemorrhoids, integrating dietary and herbal interventions to reduce incidence and severity. Material: Ayurvedic texts such as Charaka Samhita and Sushruta Samhita recommend dietary modifications and herbal remedies, emphasizing high-fiber foods and avoidance of vitiating factors. Result: The research evaluates a standardized dietary regimen in-corporating Ayurvedic and modern nutritional principles, focusing on fiber intake, hydration, and the role of herbs like Amalaki, Surana, Punarnava and Triphala. Methodology includes a review of dietary articles and development of a master chart for clinical and household use, aligned with Ayurvedic principles. Conclusion: Findings suggest that a holistic dietary approach, combining Ayurvedic practices with modern nutrition, offers an effective strategy for managing haemorrhoids.

The progression of hygiene techniques from traditional medicinal systems such as Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH) to modern methods is examined in this article. It highlights the philosophical underpinnings of these conventional systems and their holistic view of health, emphasizing the significance of environmental, nutritional, and personal cleanliness. The importance of traditional hygiene practices in preventing sickness and promoting good health is discussed in the study. This article shows how well it works to combine ancient practices with contemporary hygiene techniques by analyzing historical settings and modern scientific findings. It also discusses obstacles to this integration and suggests improving policy support, research, and public awareness. In the end, the paper promotes a holistic view of health that harmonizes traditional knowledge with contemporary medical procedures.

The concept of "Rasa" in Ayurveda, commonly translated as "taste," holds profound significance beyond mere sensory perception. It encompasses various forms, including Pradhana Rasa (primary taste) and Anu-Rasa (secondary taste or aftertaste), each playing a key role in influencing the body’s internal balance and overall health. Rasa is closely linked to the Mahabhutas (five elements), Tridoshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), and Dhatus (tissues), affecting digestion, metabolism, and bodily functions. Additionally, the relationship between Rasas and seasonal changes (Rutu) highlights the adaptive nature of diet according to environmental conditions. The six primary Rasas-sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent, and astringent-determine the potency, qualities, and therapeutic benefits or drawbacks of food and drink. Excessive consumption or withdrawal of specific Rasas can lead to imbalances, influencing the body’s wellness and susceptibility to diseases. This in terms affects our Prakriti (basic nature of our body) and improper use of Shad Rasa may lead to Vikriti (any disease). Overall Shad Ras affects our Prakriti and imbalaced use results in Vikriti i.e. disease condition. Modern research continues to explore how the essence, potency, and effects of Rasas align with contemporary scientific understanding, emphasizing their potential therapeutic roles. This abstract encapsulates Ayurveda's holistic perspective on taste, advocating further exploration through case studies and clinical research to deepen insights into the physiological impact of Rasas on health.
