Kawasaki disease (KD), also known as Kawasaki syndrome, is an acute febrile illness of unknown cause that primarily affects children younger than 5 years of age. The symptoms of Kawasaki disease are similar to those of an infection, so bacteria or a virus may be responsible. But so far a bacterial or viral cause hasn't been identified. As Kawasaki disease isn't contagious, it can't be passed from one person to another. Aim: 1. To know general idea about the condition of the disease. Objective: 1. Exploring knowledge of pharmacology, management of medicine and nursing. Result: Patient was discharge and he has to come for follow up after 15 days. Conclusion: Kawasaki disease can affect children and teenagers of all racial and ethnic backgrounds. In most cases, children will recover within a few days of treatment without any serious problems. Recurrences are uncommon. If left untreated, Kawasaki disease can lead to serious heart disease. Kawasaki disease has a positive outcome when diagnosed and treated early.

To better support patients in maintaining their physical, mental, and emotional health, nurses who specialise in palliative care utilise an integrative and interdisciplinary therapeutic strategy. They make an effort to gain an understanding of each patient's unique requirements in order to devise a treatment strategy that is individualised and results in sustained comfort.

Menopause is a natural step in the aging process represent the end of menstruation after the last menstrual periods in the previous 12 month. It occurs gradually in women and indicate the transition from the reproductive to the post reproductive era of women’s life.

Objective of the Study: (1) To assess the knowledge on menopausal symptoms among 40-50 years old regarding at selected urban areas. (2) To assess the knowledge on menopausal symptoms among 40-50 years old regarding at selected rural areas (3) To compare the knowledge score of women in urban and rural areas. (4) To determine the relationship between the knowledge with selected socio demographic variables such as education, occupation, previous knowledge.

Method: A non-experimental, comparative study with a quantitative research approach was utilized to test the proposed hypothesis. Instructional booklet was papered regarding menopausal symptoms and its management.

Result: The knowledge mean score of urban areas is 52.2 and rural mean score is 36.6. Compare the knowledge of urban and rural menopausal symptoms women.

“Computer visional so known syndrome”as digital eye strain, describes a group of eye and vision related problems that result from prolonged computer use in higher secondary school at Porur. The present study was aim to assess the knowledge on computer vision syndrome and each associate risk factors among school going children. A quantitative approach with descriptive research design was adopted for the present study. This study has sample size of 100 school going children of 12-17 years old and simple random sampling technique was used. A self structured questionnaire method was used as a tool to assess the level of knowledge on computer vision syndrome and each associated factors of computers among school going children. The study findings revealed that out of 100 samples 6.2(6.2%) of children have inadequate knowledge, 31.3(31.3%) of children have moderate knowledge and 62.5(62.5%) of children have adequate. Hence the findings of present study concluded, this study incontestable that the level of knowledge on computer vision syndrome was found to be Porur, Chennai. Monthly wage, daily exposure time, sort of work and information were the foremost determinant factors for computer vision syndrome thus optimizing the exposure time and up the awareness of users. By faculty going students and management support are vital to eye drawback. Within the future, it's counseled to work out the additive impact of exploitation computers on CVS on or off operating time.

This Intestinal worm infestations are widely prevalent in tropical and subtropical countries and occur where there is poverty and poor sanitation. The child to child approach is an educational process that links children learning with fusion action to promote the health wellbeing and development of themselves their families and their communities. The objective of the present study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Child to Child approach on the prevention and management of worm infestation among school children in the changeset, Kancheepuram district, Tamil Nadu. Quantitative approach and pre-experimental one group pretest, posttest design was adopted based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The total number of 100 children were selected by the non–probability convenient sampling technique. The tool used for the study comprises two sections section A and Section B. Section A comprised of demographic data which includes age, gender, siblings. Occupation of mothers, Toilet facilities, water facilities. Section B comprises a structured questionnaire that was developed by the researcher to assess the knowledge on Prevention and management of worm infestation among school students which includes forty questions to answer the questionnaire. The results of the study are before giving Child to Child approach in the value of which is pretest level of knowledge showed that 50 (50%) students have inadequate knowledge and 50 (50%) students have moderately adequate knowledge none of them have adequate knowledge. After giving the Child to Child approach the level of knowledge showed that 22(22%) students have moderately adequate knowledge 78(78%), students have adequate knowledge none of them have inadequate knowledge The investigator found that Child to Child approach in improving the level of knowledge on prevention and management of worm infestation. (t=31.15; p=0.0001).

Introduction: Tuberculosis, which has been around for more than a century and may be prevented or treated with high quality medications, is nevertheless a major public health issue. Despite this, tuberculosis is still a major public health issue. The burden of adult tuberculosis is determined by the prevalence of pediatric tuberculosis in the population.

Methods: A study was done on children with TB. Planned Teaching of mothers was intervened how to care for children them at home. 50 samples were chosen with the help of purposive sampling. The structured knowledge interview questionnaire was used to get the information. It had 40 questions about how to manage care at home for people with TB. The pre-test was given to 50 mothers, and the planned teaching program was given to them seven days later. The post-test was given to the same group of mothers using the same tool. Most of the people who answered the survey (22) were between the ages of 21 and 30 and live in an urban slum area.

Result: The majority of the participants, 22 (44%), were between the ages of 21 and 30 and resided in an urban slum. The average post-test score was 34.6±2.3 out of 40, whereas the pretest score was 5.2±1.1.

Conclusion: A well thought out educational program can help urban slum mothers better care for their children TB infection.

Background: Iodine deficiency disorders (IDDs) are dominant public health problem which can be hinder by consumption of iodized salt. For defendable elimination of IDDs, the goal of universal salt iodization (USI) is to cover more than 90% of household to consume adequately iodized salt. This study was conducted with objectives as to assess the level of knowledge and practices regarding the consumption of salt in selected area Puducherry.

Aim: This study aimed to identify the level of knowledge and practice on iodised and non–iodised salt among households.

Subjects and methods: A descriptive study were conducted among 93 households, in Puducherry. Sample selected by using convenient sampling technique. The quantitative research approach and descriptive cross sectional survey design was used. Data was collected by using structured questionnaire for socio demographic variables and to assess the level of knowledge and practice Likert scale was used.

Result: Out of 93 householders, 40(43%) were aged between 45–55 years, 61(65.6%) were female. The result shows only 6(6.45%) of them had adequate knowledge of iodised and non-iodised salt and 7(7.53%) had positive attitude towards iodised and non-iodised salt among the householders.2 most of them 90% using white salt.3 there was positive correlation between knowledge and attitude between iodised and noniodised salt among householders. It was evident that statistically significant p<0.001 level.4 There is a significant association between knowledge with socioeconomic status at p<0.05 level and attitude with monthly income at p<0.05 level. It was evident that if knowledge increases attitude also increases. The role of education plays major role in imparting knowledge about IDD and iodine salt to public.

Conclusion: These study findings revealed that majority of householders were inadequate knowledge and adequate intake of salt. Researcher play a major role in imparting knowledge about IDD and iodised salt to public and also distributed pamphlets to create awareness to public.
