Introduction


Dr. Satyanarayana Turangi is an accomplished Assistant Professor of Economics at Woxsen University, with expertise in Rural Economics, MGNREGS (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act), and agrarian change.He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Hyderabad (UoH), where his thesis focused on the implementation and impact of MGNREGA. His academic credentials also include an M.Phil. from UoH and M.A. (Economics) with Distinction from Andhra University. He is UGC NET and AP SET qualified.Dr. Turangi brings a rich blend of academic and research experience, having served as an Assistant Professor at Christ (Deemed to be University) and the Central University of Karnataka, and as a Research Associate at the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR). His research has been published in esteemed, SCOPUS-indexed journals like the Journal of Rural Development and South Asia Research.
