I Sweta Joshi, and I have completed my Master of Science in Forensic Nursing from the National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, during the academic year 2022– 2024. My postgraduate education has provided me with a strong foundation in forensic nursing, medico-legal procedures, victim care, forensic evidence, and the responsibilities of nurses in the healthcare and justice systems. Currently, I am working as an M.Sc. Tutor at KD Institute of Nursing Sciences, Ahmedabad. In my present role, I am involved in teaching, student mentoring, clinical guidance, academic planning, and organizing various educational and co-curricular activities. I enjoy interacting with students and creating an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, developing their skills, and connecting theoretical concepts with practical situations. My primary area of interest is Forensic Nursing and medico-legal care, particularly the management and care of victims of violence, preservation of forensic evidence, accurate documentation, and the role of nurses in medico-legal cases. Along with forensic nursing, I have a keen interest in nursing education and research, as I believe research and evidence-based practice are essential for improving the quality of nursing care and education. As an educator, I consider myself responsible, dedicated, adaptable, and enthusiastic. I continuously try to update my knowledge and improve my professional skills. I also believe that effective teaching is not limited to delivering information; it involves encouraging critical thinking, communication, practical competence, ethical practice, and lifelong learning among students. I look forward to utilizing my academic knowledge, teaching experience, forensic nursing expertise, and dedication to contribute positively to the organization and to grow professionally.
