Introduction


Dr. Snehal R. Sonani is an Assistant Professor at the G.J. Patel Institute of Ayurveda Science and Research in Gondal, Rajkot, India. She holds a Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) degree, as well as a Master's degree (M.S.) and a Ph.D. in Ayurveda.

Dr. Sonani's area of expertise is Shalya Tantra, which is a branch of Ayurveda that deals with surgical procedures ³. She has published several research papers and articles, including one book, and has presented papers at various seminars and conferences. Dr. Sonani has also received four best paper awards for her research work.
