Introduction


I Dr. R.Ushasri, Associate Professor, working for more than 20 years . I have had completed my Post Graduation in Microbiology in the year 1992, was awarded two merit scholarships and Gold medal from university of Gulbarga. I have started my academic career  from 1992 as a lecturer, promoted gradually as assistant professor now being promoted as an Associate Professor after completion of M.Phil and doctorate awarded in 2006 and 2024. I have passion of continuous learning and teaching in various fields of Microbiology. I have been actively participated and presented in state level. National level and Internationational level seminars, workshops, conferences. I have been activily participated  as organizing member in National and International  conferences and workshops. I have morethan 50 publications in book chapters, journals and conference proceedings. I was awarded  best teacher, CV  Raman award etc. My passion is to motivate students from all levels and to encourage them  . I presently work for Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for women, Teynampet , Chennai. My areas of interest are Virology, Bacteriology, Industrial Microbiology, General microbiology, Microbial genetics and Recombinant technology. I would to serve as a best teaching faculty to promote research areas at different levels in innovative method.
