Introduction


I am Remya N., a physiotherapy academician with 19.6 years of teaching experience, including 17 years of postgraduate teaching and academic leadership. I currently serve as Professor and Principal at Bethany Navajeevan College of Physiotherapy, Thiruvananthapuram, while pursuing my PhD at Kerala University of Health Sciences. Previously, I served as Professor and Head of the Department at Little Flower Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Angamaly; Associate Professor at Medical Trust Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi; and Vice Principal at Cooperative Institute of Health Sciences, Kannur University.

 

 I have made significant contributions to physiotherapy education through syllabus development, question paper setting, university examinations and evaluations, dissertation assessment, academic inspections, and participation in academic committees. I have also served as a resource person at various national and international conferences and faculty development programmes and have presented research papers at academic forums.

 

I have authored and co-authored more than 25 publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals and am a co-author of the book Disability and Rehabilitation.
