With over a decade of experience in animal science, I have specialized in animal behaviour, welfare and management, with a research focus on cognitive performance, behavioral enrichment, animal sentience, housing systems, and welfare indicators in farm animals especially dairy cattle. &nbsp;<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:107%;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif">I hold a Ph.D. in Livestock Production Management from ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, Haryana complemented by a PG Diploma in Animal Welfare from IGNOU, New Delhi and a certified course in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh. My academic journey of M.V.Sc. and B.V.Sc. &amp; A.H. are from College of Veterinary Science &amp; Animal Husbandry, OUAT.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:107%;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif">I have authored various peer-reviewed research articles in reputed national and international journals and contributed to book chapters, popular articles, and conference presentations. My research has earned accolades including the Best Research Paper Award at the 7th Pan Commonwealth Veterinary Conference (CVA, Australia) in 2019. I have acted as an invited expert speaker in a workshop and served as a reviewer for the International Society for Applied Ethology (ISAE).<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:107%;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif">I am actively engaged with several international and national professional bodies including ISAE, VCI, ISAPM, ANSI, SOCDAB, and ISBD and have participated in multiple national and international workshops on welfare science, livestock precision farming, policy, and pedagogy. <o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:107%;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif">I have also contributed to research in poultry nutrition, cognitive enrichment, duck farming, and integrated livestock systems.
