Introduction


Dr. Priyanka Sharma is a specialist in Microbiology and Bioinformatics and currently serves as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and an Affiliate Member of the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT. Her expertise is split between two high-impact areas: pioneering the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) to develop novel diagnostic tools like AMR-Diag for quickly predicting Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in pathogens, and conducting cutting-edge research in cancer epitranscriptomics, specifically investigating RNA modifications (like $m^6A$) in melanoma using advanced genomic technologies.
