Dr. Poongodi V, Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing, KGNC has 12 years of experience in nursing research in guiding UG , PG students. She has been recognized as Ph.D (N) Guide under Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Deemed to be University, Puducherry. She has published 28 papers in national and international journals and are indexed in Scopus/Web of Science. She has published 4 copyright and authored two chapters in the Text book of “Recent studies on Environmental, Plants and Microbes and Applications of Artificial intelligence†Published by IOT Academy, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. She has complete fellowship in Palliative Care. She is interested to conduct research studies to contribute significantly towards evidence based nursing practice. She has presented many research papers in the national and international conferences. She received Best Teacher Award from International Association of Lions Club during Teachers Day Celebration on 11th January 2020 and Women Professor Award from Puducherry Research Institute of Management, Education & Science in collaboration with The International Internship University, Australia, and Annai College of Arts & Science, Kumbakonam held on 27th march 2022. She has completed the health research methodology and publishing programme – Research to Publication developed by BMJ and UCSF.
