Dr. Kiran G. Piparva is a highly experienced Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rajkot, with over 15 years of academic, research, and teaching experience.His career began as a postgraduate student and resident at M. P. Shah Government Medical College, Jamnagar, and P.D.U. Government Medical College, Rajkot, where he later served as an Assistant Professor for 12 years, contributing significantly to both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) medical education.Dr. Piparva's primary areas of expertise and interest include Pharmacovigilance (having served as Deputy Co-ordinator at an Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre), Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), Medical Education, and Clinical Research focused on Infectious Diseases (including Tuberculosis, where he currently runs a funded project) and Endocrinal Diseases (Diabetes).He has contributed 21 publications to national and international journals and maintains active memberships in multiple professional bodies, including the Indian Pharmacologist Society (IPS) and the Indian Medical Association (IMA). He is also an experienced guest speaker on Pharmacovigilance.
