My name is Ms. Nilsin Philip, and I am working as an Associate Professor in the department of Medical-Surgical Nursing at KD Institute of Nursing sciences.I have more than 11 years of experience in MSN. Nursing education has always been an important part of my professional journey, and I am passionate about contributing to the development of knowledgeable, skilled, confident, and compassionate nursing professionals. My major area of interest is enhancing nursing education through innovative, evidence-based, and student-centered teaching and learning approaches. I believe that effective nursing education should not be limited to classroom teaching but should provide students with meaningful opportunities to connect theoretical concepts with clinical practice. My focus is on developing students’ theoretical and clinical knowledge, critical thinking, clinical reasoning, decision-making abilities, communication skills, and professional competence. As an educator, I am interested in using interactive teaching strategies, case-based learning, simulation, discussions, demonstrations, reflective learning, and evidence-based practice to make learning more engaging and meaningful. I believe that a supportive and encouraging learning environment helps students build confidence, improve their clinical skills, and develop a positive professional attitude. Continuous learning and professional development are important aspects of my academic journey. I am particularly interested in exploring nursing journals and current research literature to remain updated with recent advancements in nursing education, clinical practice, healthcare, and research. I look forward to reading, learning from, and contributing to nursing journals, as they provide valuable opportunities to share knowledge, explore new ideas, and promote evidence-based nursing practice. Through my role as an educator, I aspire to inspire students to become lifelong learners and competent healthcare professionals. I hope to contribute to the advancement of nursing education by promoting academic excellence, clinical competence, professional values, and quality patient care. I look forward to continued learning, meaningful academic collaborations, and opportunities to contribute to the nursing profession through education, research, and professional development and innovation throughout my professional nursing career
