Introduction

I am Sai Krishna Puli, an enterprise technology leader with over 20 years of IT experience bridging the gap between cutting-edge artificial intelligence and complex enterprise ecosystems. Currently, I serve as the Lead Application Architect and Data Architect at LabCorp Drug Development Inc., where I design and scale data platforms and AI-driven systems across clinical trial, laboratory, and public health data domains. Throughout my career, my focus has been on transforming healthcare data architecture and core business operations through intelligent automation. My expertise spans Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, alongside core healthcare infrastructure like HL7/FHIR-based interoperability and clinical data systems. Whether architecting event-driven architectures utilizing Apache Kafka and Microsoft Dynamics 365, or migrating massive CRM workloads to Google Cloud Platform, I specialize in building highly resilient, scalable, and secure systems. I am deeply committed to advancing the industry through both practical engineering and academic research. I have authored several peer-reviewed publications focusing on explainable AI for pre-analytical error detection, hybrid LLM-graph architectures for billing risk detection, and high-performance data pipelines using Polars. My contributions to the field are recognized through professional distinctions, including holding an Oracle Agentic AI Certification, PMP, and Databricks Foundation Certification. Furthermore, I serve as a Peer Reviewer for the Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) and hold a Full Membership in Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Honor Society. Driven by a passion for solving complex, high-stakes data challenges, I thrive at the intersection of AI innovation, cloud data warehousing, and operational excellence, ensuring that enterprise systems are not only robust today but fully prepared for the future.
