I am Dr. Mukta Singh, currently working as the Vice Principal at KD Institute of Nursing Sciences, Ahmedabad, a position I have been serving in since September 2019. My journey in nursing has been a combination of clinical practice, teaching, academic leadership, research, and professional development. Academically, I have completed my Ph.D. in Nursing from Shri JJT University in 2024. I completed my M.Sc. Nursing with distinction from C.M. Patel College, Gandhinagar, in 2019, and my B.Sc. Nursing with distinction from SUM Nursing College, Bhubaneswar, in 2015. I began my professional career in the clinical field, working as a Staff Nurse at Sunflower Nursing Home, Bhubaneswar, followed by experience as a Staff Nurse and Adolescent Education Teacher at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Cuttack. I also worked as an External Pediatric Faculty at Florence Nurses Academy, Gandhinagar. These experiences helped me develop a strong connection between clinical practice and nursing education. Along with teaching and administration, I have a keen interest in research, academic writing, and professional development. I have contributed to books and book chapters and published research papers in areas including nursing education, pediatric nursing, public health, technology, and emergency nursing. I have also been associated with various editorial and reviewer roles in nursing journals. I am also a Certified AHA-BLS and ACLS Provider and have completed the IAP-NNF Neonatal Resuscitation Program. I have had opportunities to serve as a resource person in academic conferences and educational programmes. I believe nursing is a profession of continuous learning, leadership, compassion, and service. I always strive to learn something new, share my knowledge with others, and contribute meaningfully to the growth of nursing education and the profession
