IntroductionI am Dr. Manjusha K, an academic paediatrician, clinician, and healthcare researcher with over 14 years of clinical experience caring for infants, children, and adolescents. My practice is built on comprehensive, evidence-based, and family-centered pediatric care, partnering closely with parents to support their child's growth, development, and overall well-being.
My clinical practice is backed by an exceptional academic record. I hold MD (Paediatrics), DCH, DNB, and MRCPCH (UK) qualifications alongside MNAMS, having achieved 1st Rank from KUHS and the Gold Medal as well as the Best Outgoing Postgraduate Award from Government Medical College, Kozhikode. Across tertiary care, inpatient, and outpatient settings, I manage a wide spectrum of childhood conditions ranging from general acute illnesses to complex chronic disorders, backed by specialized training in neonatal and pediatric emergency care.Beyond the bedside, I am deeply committed to advancing healthcare research, evidence-based clinical methodology, and institutional standards. Holding an M.Phil in Clinical Epidemiology from the School of Public Health (KUHS), I actively design and conduct epidemiological studies, evaluate healthcare outcomes, mentor postgraduate research, and serve on institutional Scientific Research Committees. My interdisciplinary expertise is further strengthened by an MBA in Hospital and Health Systems Management (BITS Pilani), a PG Diploma in Medical Law & Ethics (NLSIU Bengaluru), and CPQIH healthcare quality certification.As a Master Trainer in Healthcare Communication (CAHO) and state trainer for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Childhood Tuberculosis (NTEP & IAP), and MBFHI, I regularly train healthcare providers and guide medical postgraduates.
