My journey began with my M.B.B.S. degree from J.J.M.M.C, Davangere, in 2011, establishing a strong foundation in clinical medicine. Currently, I am advancing my expertise in Paediatrics while serving as a Resident at Padmashree Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s Medical College in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, where I am committed to both patient care and medical education. My academic record, including high scores in my SSC and HSC examinations, reflects a consistent dedication to excellence and scholarly pursuit from the start of my career.
Professionally, I couple my clinical duties with a keen interest in medical research and publications. My experience as a Resident since 2014 has provided significant teaching experience, guiding future medical professionals. Furthermore, I have been actively involved in contributing to the medical literature, authoring or co-authoring several articles on diverse topics in Paediatrics. These publications range from observational case reports on complex conditions like West Syndrome, Anencephaly, Arthrogyoposis Multiplex Congenitia, and CHARGE Syndrome, to vital public health topics such as Swine Flu (H1N1) and practical patient care issues like the 'Medical apron.' This demonstrates a commitment not only to treating patients but also to advancing medical knowledge.
Beyond the clinical and academic sphere, I possess a well-rounded skill set that includes strong leadership and organizational capabilities. My history of involvement in student governance is extensive, having served as Head Girl of my high school and holding multiple positions, including General Secretary and Cultural Secretary, at J.J.M.M.C. These skills culminated in my role as Member Secretary of the Student Council and Gathering Co-ordinator for the annual college fest, "Celesta-2015." I also hold certified qualifications in Hindi and Art, alongside formal training in Bharatnatyam and Sangeet Visharad, and am proud to be an award-winning poet.
